Body Wraps

A body wrap – also known as a ‘body cocoon’ or ‘body mask’ – is a spa treatment created to enhance the health and appearance of skin, and/or reduce body measurements. A nourishing mineral-rich formula of clay and essential oils is applied to the limbs and torso.  After laying peacefully wrapped in a warm cocoon of infrared technology you will take a steamy rain shower, and then receive a body butter application to moisturize the skin.

Body Scrubs

Body polishes help exfoliate dead skin cells and are made with essential oils and sugar or salt. Polishes are applied with light scrubbing technique that stimulates circulation, move lymph, and smooth the skins surface. Following the exfoliation process the scrub is showered away in a warm steam rainfall shower, and a body butter moisturizer applied. Polishes leave the skin feeling refreshed and glowing.

Facials

Rejuvenate, liven, and tighten the skin while taming facial tension. Massage technique combined with hot moist towel treatment and natural products which cleanse, exfoliate, firm and hydrate.

Chemical Peels

An exfoliation process very effective in treating a large range of skin concerns such as aging, sun damage, acne, and mild scarring, Peels help by improving overall skin brightness, evening of skin tone and pore size. Peels can range from light to deep, and help remove damaged outer layer of the skin allowing a fresh new layer of skin cells to naturally emerge. By removing the build-up of dead skin cells and stimulating the regenerative process, you will notice marked improvements in the formation of wrinkles and fine lines, texture and tone of the skin, hydration, reduced pore size, clearing of blemishes, and more balanced oil production and an overall healthier skin appearance. Light peels require no down time from work or normal activities. Moderate peels may require a day or two of down time, and deep peels can require a week or more to allow the skin to fully heal.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is an exfoliation method that uses a special machine that applies a slightly rough applicator tip (diamond tip) to the surface of the skin of the face or neck to exfoliate the uppermost layer of skin. This encourages skin turnover, smooth texture, diminished appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Microdermabrasion also stimulates collagen production and improves firmness, reduces blemishes and pore size.  It helps to bring about brightening of the skin tone while minimizing areas of discoloration. Microdermabrasion may be recommended for those with chemical sensitivities and can be used on most skin colors and types. The procedure is painless and non-invasive; however, multiple sessions may be required in some cases.

Extractions

Extractions involve the process of clearing a clogged pore causing blackheads, pustules, and pimples. Extractions can be performed by manual means with finger and gauze or mechanically using stainless steel tools. The extraction process will involve cleansing of the skin and the application of enzyme or desincrustation fluid to soften and prepare the skin for easier extractions. Extractions are performed under a magnifying lamp with a bright light, so that your Esthetician can easily see the pores that need to be deep-cleansed.  Following extractions, an antiseptic/antibacterial product is generally applied to bring the skin back to its normal acid pH, and to aid in preventing post-facial breakouts.

Eye Lash Extensions

A set of eyelash extensions gives the illusion of having thick, long and dark eyelashes all the time, so there’s no need to wear mascara, curl your lashes or put false eyelashes on. Many women with lash extensions skip wearing eye makeup altogether, as they feel the extensions give their eyes enough definition on their own. Individual synthetic or mink false eyelashes are affixed just above the root of the natural eyelash, with one false lash bonded to one natural lash using surgical-grade adhesive that’s semi-permanent, non-irritating and safe for the eye area. Eyelashes extensions can be customized per client for fuller thick lashes, long glamorous lashes, or soft natural looking lashes.

Waxing

Waxing is a form of semi-permanent hair removal which removes the hair from the root. New hair will not grow back in the previously waxed area for four to six weeks, although some people will start to see regrowth in only a week due to some of their hair being on a different human hair growth cycle. Almost any area of the body can be waxed, including eyebrows, face, pubic area (called bikini waxing), legs, arms, back, abdomen, knuckles and feet. There are a variety of ways waxing is suitable for removing unwanted hair.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a non-evasive skin resurfacing technique using an extremely fine, surgical-grade blade to gently exfoliate the epidermis and uncover the newer smoother skin buried under the layer of dead skin cells. Dermaplaning also removes fine vellus hair (“peach fuzz”). Dermaplaning is often done before another cosmetic procedure, such as a light chemical peel, to enhance its effect.

Galvanic Facial Treatments

Galvanic skin treatments are used to tone up muscles, promote blood circulation, increase cell metabolism and activate enzymes. This treatment helps healing after surgical and non-surgical procedures and improves the quality and firmness of skin.

Galvanic Current is a continuous current that flows in one direction and uses low voltage and medium amperage. It has dual polarity of a positive or negative charge.

Galvanic Desincrustation is the use of galvanic current on the negative polarity pushing active substances into the skin for astringent or purifying purposes.  Desincrustation helps soften tissues, open pores for deeper cleansing, dissolve sebum and ingrained dirt. It assists with increasing circulation, bringing oxygen, warmth and nutrients to treated area.

Galvanic Iontophoresis is the use of galvanic current on the positive polarity pushing active substances into the skin for moisturizing, soothing, decongesting, and detoxifying purposes.  Iontophoresis helps improve skin texture by tightening and firming, refines pores, reduces redness and soothes nerve endings.  It helps drive active ingredients such as vitamins, antioxidants, and peptids into the skin resulting in deeper penetration beyond the superficial layer.

LED Photon Therapy

LED—Light Emitting Diode—therapy was originally developed by NASA to help Navy Seals recover from their wounds and regenerate muscle. However, it wasn’t long before researchers discovered its unique therapeutic benefits in the world of cosmetic skincare. LED therapy uses certain frequencies of light that reduces fine lines and wrinkles, stimulates collagen production and increases new tissue growth. This process is a non-invasive, anti-aging procedure that uses light deep into the skins layers to trigger cellular activity to allow the skin to heal and rejuvenate. LED therapy is appropriate for facials and for other areas of skin.  The color of the light determines the treatment affects.   Red combats wrinkles and increases collagen product for smoother, younger looking skin.   Green balances skin complexion for more naturally looking skin. And, blue eliminates acne-causing bacteria and assist with acne reduction.

Brow & Lash

Dark, full eyelashes and eyebrows are a popular trend, making you appear youthful and sexy. Many people have to wear makeup on a daily basis in order to maintain this look. Women who have lighter hair colors can have a hard time making dark eyelashes and eyebrows look natural and accentuate their features.

Lash Lift – A lash lift curls your lash from base to tip so that you can see the full length.

Lash Tint – Eyelash tinting is a treatment that dyes your natural lashes darker to create the appearance of longer and fuller eyelashes.

Brow Tint – Brow tinting is a treatment that dyes your natural brow darker to create the appearance of longer and fuller eyelashes

Brow Lamination – Brow lamination is almost like a perm for your eyebrows; similar to the well-known lash lift treatment. They’re both ways of enhancing what you already have by manipulating the hairs with chemicals. The treatment is often paired with a brow tint for a bolder enhanced look.
